They arrive as day old chicks. Once they have enough feathering to be outside they go out on pasture in a special hoop house which we can move when fresh grass is needed. We raise our chickens with no added hormones till they are approximately 10-12 weeks old. The chickens range in weight from 5 to 10 lbs, more than enough for a meal.
