Located just east of Uxbridge in Durham Region, our working farm offers educational school farm tours near Toronto and across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for students preschool to grade 4.

Forsythe Family Farms is a natural outdoor classroom where children strengthen observation skills, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of food, farming, and the environment.

During our fully guided farm tours for schools, students will meet friendly farm animals, explore fruit and vegetable fields, and discover where their food comes from. Through hands-on farm activities and sensory exploration, children experience agriculture in a way that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and deepens their connection to nature.

Our farm field trips for preschool through Grade 4 enable students to explore their place in the world through the food they eat and the products they use every day.
