Providing Goods and Services to People with Disabilities

Forsythe Family Farms 2009 Inc is committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities.

Assistive devices

We will ensure that our staff is familiar with various assistive devices used by our customers and assist when needed.

Communication

We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability and respect their dignity.

Service Animals

We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public whereas regular pets are not.

Support persons

A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that support person accompany them with no admission fee charged to the support person.

Staff will notify support workers of this policy upon entrance.  Admission and tour fees are charged only for their clients.

Feedback process

Customers who wish to provide feedback on the way we provide goods and services to people with disabilities can talk to Leslie or the market supervisor present that day.

All feedback, including complaints, will be directed to Leslie so that they may be acted upon and resolved.  Customers can expect to hear back in 2 days

Our farm is a smoke free zone!

Dogs cannot participate in the farms’ activities for health and safety reasons. They are best left at home.  Service Dogs are welcome.
