  • Our farm animals love visitors especially when they bring treats.   Food for them is available in our market and at admission.  We also offer you an opportunity to learn with all of our great farm animal fact boards.

  • Paddock Playground: Active Fun for All Ages Looking for something more active? Explore our Paddock Playground, packed with fun, challenging activities for older kids—and the young at heart. It’s the perfect place to climb, move, and play while enjoying the fresh farm air.

  • Enjoy mazes? –Get lost in our corn maze where all you see is corn and sky.  Don’t panic, your kids will help get you out.  Check out our Lost and Found cedar maze in our Barnyard Adventure Playground.  You can’t measure it in acres but challenges can come in small packages.

  • Our play train has been a landmark structure for over 30 years.  At least two generations of kids have traveled far in their imaginations on this train.  What child doesn’t want to get behind the wheel of a tractor?  Both make a good backdrop for group pictures.

  • Scavenger Hunts – Add a fun and interesting way to explore the farm.  We have a variety of choices for all ages for you to choose from.  Check out our wall of hunts posted in our animal barn.

  • Tranquility Trail – Get out and stretch your legs. Enjoy an extended walk around our farm’s fields taking in the beauty of the surrounding Durham region countryside.   The trail takes approximately 45 minutes to walk.  Suitable for ages 6 plus.  The terrain is uneven so good walking shoes or boots are necessary.  Wear clothing that is appropriate for the weather.  Long sleeves and pants are highly recommended for protection against ticks and mosquitos.

Plus Special Festival Activities

  • Visit our Imagination Station – We have a selection of crafts for the kids to do in a nice warm room.  It’s a good chance to get out of the weather, relax and be creative!  There’s even an easy craft for the wee ones to do.
