October Harvest Festival

We celebrate the bounty of the harvest each October weekend from Thanksgiving weekend
till Halloween with lots of festive fun.  It’s pumpkin picking time!

Come on out; relax and enjoy a fun filled time with family and friends. We have lots of extra fun stuff happening along with our usual activities that we offer throughout our farming season.

Daily Activities

  • Enjoy our Barnyard Adventure playground with lots of room for the kids to run and use their imagination

  • Our farm animals love visitors especially when they bring treats.   We also offer you an opportunity to learn with all of our great farm animal fact boards.

  • Tootle around our tricycle and pedal kart tracks.

  • Slide down Billy Goat Mountain, one of our most popular kid activities

  • Get lost in our 2 acre corn maze, all you see is corn and sky!  Enjoy mazes? Check out our No Left Turn cedar maze in our Barnyard Adventure Playground.  Can’t measure it in acres but challenges can come in small packages.

  • Play train and tractor

Plus Weekend Special Festival Activities

  • Scavenger Hunts – A fun and interesting way to explore the farm.  We have a variety of quests for the children to complete.

  • Wagon rides – Enjoy a ride down Fairy Tale Lane and around our fields.  Wagon rides are running between 10:00 am and 4:00.  See the farm from a different perspective.  The view is beautiful.

  • Take a walk in our woods.  Embrace nature!

  • Take a ride on our wagon train – fun for adults and children alike.

  • Be creative in our craft zone!  Make a memento to take home with you.

  • Fun Family Games – Step back in time with an assortment of games the whole family can play

  • Pick your own Pumpkins from our fields or from already picked piles around the farm.

    Relax on our patio and enjoy the lively music of Steve and Dawn 

  • Saturday Oct 19th 10-1pm

    It’s storytime!  Join children’s book author Carolyn Morris of Railfence books as she reads of the countryside adventures of her Railfence bunch.  Kids will not only be captivated by her storytelling they can get creative with a craft.  A kindergarten teacher for over 30 years she knows how to engage and brighten your child’s day Rain or Shine!

  • Saturday October 26th 12:00 – 3:00

    Singer, songwriter, composer Angie Durban will be here singing her heart out and would love for you to join her.  Check out our farm’s music video –   the song is her creation.

  • Saturday and Sunday Oct 26th and 27th   Carve your pumpkins at the farm.

    What kid doesn’t love Halloween night, the excitement of dressing up and heading out to meet their friends and neighbors.  What parent loves the frantic preparations of carving the pumpkin as you’re trying to get an early dinner before heading out with the kids.

    We will have a pumpkin carving station available Saturday and Sunday for you to have fun carving the pumpkin you’ve picked and purchased.  Leave the mess with us. (Actually the animals will love all the scraps, seeds and slime  you leave behind)  Take home your pumpkin carved and ready to display.  Basic carving tools will be available.  If you are super creative and have your own special tools for carving bring them along.  We’ll post a photo gallery on instagram of all your artistry.

  • It’s Tradition – the last Sunday of October is Apple Cider pressing day.

    #Come watch the Geissberger brothers as they press fresh apple cider for us with their mobile cider unit.  The apples are washed, crushed, pressed and the cider is pasteurized all on the trailer.  A good chance to take home naturally delicious sweet apple cider with no preservatives or sugar added.

Our Farm’ n ’Fun area closes at 4:00 to new admissions as we want you to have time to enjoy our farm and activities.
