October Harvest Festival

We celebrate the bounty of the harvest each October weekend from Thanksgiving weekend
till Halloween with lots of festive fun.  It’s pumpkin picking time!

Come on out; relax and enjoy a fun filled time with family and friends. We have lots of extra fun stuff happening along with our usual activities that we offer throughout our farming season.

Daily Activities

  • Enjoy our Barnyard Adventure playground with lots of room for the kids to run and use their imagination

  • Our farm animals love visitors especially when they bring treats.   We also offer you an opportunity to learn with all of our great farm animal fact boards.

  • Tootle around our tricycle and pedal kart tracks.

  • Slide down Billy Goat Mountain

  • Get lost in our 2 acre corn maze, all you see is corn and sky!  Enjoy our Funky Pumpkin activity.

  • Play train and tractor

Plus Weekend Special Festival Activities

  • Scavenger Hunts – A fun and interesting way to explore the farm.  We have a variety of quests for the children to complete.

  • Wagon rides – Enjoy a ride down Fairy Tale Lane and around our fields.  Wagon rides are running between 10:00 am and 4:00

  • Take a walk in our woods.  Embrace nature!

  • Take a ride on our wagon train – fun for adults and children alike.

  • Be creative in our craft zone!  Make a memento to take home with you.

  • Fun Family Games – Step back in time with an assortment of games the whole family can play

Activities available for an extra charge:

  • Pick your own Pumpkins from our fields or from already picked piles around the farm.

Enjoy Special Highlights of the season

  • Thanksgiving Monday afternoon  Enjoy the lively music of Steve and Dawn and the Murphy’s Law Band  Relax on our patio

  • Saturday October 27th 12:00 – 3:00

    Enjoy the music of  MOSAIC, a Markham based group of talented musicians.  They bring with them a love for many different kinds of music ranging from country, pop, down east fiddle, folk, jazz, and musical theatre. If Amanda Marshall, Jim Reeves, The Beatles, or Don Messer are names which are familiar, then there is music here for you..

  • It’s Tradition – the last Sunday of October is Apple Cider pressing day.

    #Come watch the Geissberger brothers as they press fresh apple cider for us with their mobile cider unit.  The apples are washed, crushed, pressed and the cider is pasteurized all on the trailer.  A good chance to take home naturally delicious sweet apple cider with no preservatives or sugar added.
