Saturday and Sunday, Oct 26th and 27th Carve your pumpkins at the farm
What kid doesn't love Halloween night, the excitement of dressing up and heading out to meet their friends and neighbors? What parent loves the frantic preparations of carving the pumpkin as you're trying to get an early dinner before heading out with the kids?
We will have a pumpkin carving station available Saturday and Sunday for you to have fun carving the pumpkin you've picked and purchased. Leave the mess with us. (Actually, the animals will love all the scraps, seeds, and goop you leave behind) Take home your pumpkin carved and ready to display. Basic carving tools will be available. If you are super creative and have special tools for carving bring them along.
Mmmm Apple Cider - Hot off the press Sunday, October 27th
The last Sunday of our Harvest Festival is traditionally our cider pressing day. Come watch the Geissberger brothers as they press fresh apples into cider for us with their mobile cider unit. The apples are washed, crushed, pressed and the cider is pasteurized all on the trailer.
A good opportunity to take home naturally delicious sweet apple cider with no preservatives or sugar added.
Bonus - the cider keeps for one year without refrigeration
