Time to press Apple Cider!

Join us this Sunday October 29th for our 6th annual Apple Cider Pressing Day;  it’s a farm tradition.

The Geissberger brothers from Farmhouse Cider bring in their mobile cider press to turn our Ontario grown apples into sweet apple cider.  An interesting process with a very tasty outcome.  Get some hot off the press!  Their packaging – bag in the box – keeps the cider fresh for a year with no need for refrigeration.

Our Corn Maze is Open!!

There are lots of good things to celebrate about September, a month of transition between summer and fall.  We celebrate this time with the official opening of our 2 acre corn maze.

It’s a chance to get lost for awhile seeing only blue sky and corn stalks.  Take a moment to relax, listen to the quiet of the country or the panic in the voices of those lost.  Don’t worry, you’ll always get out in the end.  Best advice – follow your kids. They seem to have a sense of how to make it to the end.

Corn maze activity is available during our open hours and is included with admission.  We are open Labour Day weekend including Monday 9:30-5:30 with all our weekend activities.  (Farm’n’Fun area closes to new admissions 1 hour before the farm closes)

Along with visiting the animals you can take a wagon ride down Fairy Tale Lane to our Discovery Forest Trail. It’s an enjoyable walk in our woods, but don’t forget your bug spray, mosquitoes can be a part of the experience.
