This weekend we are expecting the best of the Fall colours - but it won't last long! Pretty soon frost, rain, and wind will leave the branches bare - so don't wait - this weekend is the perfect time to drive out to Forsythe Family Farms 2009 Inc and enjoy the quiet and colours of the countryside!
I just had to stop and take a couple photos of all the lovely colours on my drive to the farm this week. I wasn't the only one who had that idea, either. I passed another vehicle on Cragg Rd. whose driver and passenger also had to grab their cameras to capture the season's beauty.

There were lots of shouts and laughter and singing were heard from all areas of the farm having a fun time with our talented tour leaders. We love seeing the farm so busy and full of life!
Come by for Harvest festival activities this weekend. Be sure to enjoy a coffee on the patio while folk singer Phillip Brown plays the perfect soundtrack for your relaxing day - between 11am and 3pm.
A wonderful interactive musical show is coming to the hayloft on Saturday, Oct. 29th - Team T&J will be putting on a show at
10:30, 12:30, and 2:30. This musical duo put on an energetic show the whole family will love, and will have you singing, dancing, and clapping along to their fun and active songs!
One of my favourite Fall beverages is without a doubt, apple cider! Even if you're not as big of a fan as I am, I think you may become one on Oct. 30th when the Giessberger brothers will bring their mobile cider press trailer to the farm. You can watch a live demonstration of how to press cider, and try a fresh sample!
Apple cider is for sale in the Farm Market along with your favourite fruits, vegetables, meats, and baked goods. Be sure to pick a pumpkin before you're finished shopping! Whether for carving, eating, or decorating, there are lots to choose from - let the kids help to pick the perfect pumpkin.
