Forsythe Family Farms 2009 Inc has been very busy with school groups this week and there are many more bookings scheduled for the rest of the month. As kids ran here and there, harvest-fest-sign-1looking in the farm market, feeding the animals and playing in the Barnyard Adventure area, I spoke with one of the tour leaders. She commented on how great it was to hear the laughter of children on the farm - and that's what it's all about!

Fall is a popular season to visit the farm as the leaves change colour, there are pumpkins everywhere and the air feels cool and crisp. It's a wonderful place for the whole family to enjoy the fall weather in the corn maze, play area, and weekend wagon rides; but there are also other special activities each weekend in October!

This Sunday, Oct. 16th is the Royal Tea Party for little princes and princesses ages 3-7. Enjoy drinks and treats, join in a sing-a-long with Show White, do crafts and take part in a royal scavenger hunt.

Coming up on Oct. 29th is a fun duo you don't want to miss: Team T&J are doing three shows in our hayloft. They create an environment where kids can explore and express their imaginations through the excitement and freedom of live music interaction. These two use music to get the whole family involved, up, and active. It's a fun show for all ages to sing and dance and jump along with!

backtoback

Oct. 30th is the farm's ever popular cider pressing. Come and see how cider is made, try a sample and pick some up from apple-pie-1the Farm Market before you head home. It's all natural, no sugar or preservatives, just pure apple flavour!

Visit the Harvest Festival page for more information on these events: http://forsythefamilyfarms.com/harvest-festival/

Be sure to experience all the apple flavour with apple pies, apple crisp, and apple cider available in the farm market.

OPEN daily in October: Weekdays 9:30 am till 5:30 pm
