Farming Foundations,
A tour for all ages.

Spring, Summer and Fall; explore our farm through the seasons.
Plant or pick from our field crops (Strawberries, peas, beans, pumpkins) and visit our farm animals. Build a stronger foundation of understanding of where your food comes through hands on activities.
Also Includes: Wagon ride, playtime

Stone Soup,
A tour for all ages.

Enjoy our Farming Foundations tour immersed in the theme of the story Stone Soup. This tour integrates harvest and community building while picking a variety of vegetables.
Also Includes: Wagon ride, and farm animal feeding, playtime

Farm and Forest,
A tour for Kindergarten +

Integrate knowledge of where your food comes from with the natural world around us. Compare wild vs cultivated as you visit with our farm animals, investigate our field crops and explore our forest.
Also Includes: Wagon Ride, animal feeding and seasonally available pick your own
A good tour for active students!

$12.00 +HST - 3 hours

Soil is Alive Science in Agriculture Workshop,
A tour for grade 3s

Focus on soil –What is it made of? What are the similarities and differences of soil in our forest and fields? Hands on activities to understand what soil is and recognize our dependence on it for our survival.
Also Includes: Wagon ride, and farm animal feeding

Habitat and Communities, Science in Agriculture Workshop,
A tour for Grade 4s

Explore our field, forest and meadow looking for nature’s best homes. Students will investigate the similarities and differences of these habitats, determine what organisms need to survive and how they adapt to their environment.
Also Includes: Wagon ride, and farm animal feeding

Exploring Sustainability, I can make a difference!
A tour for grades 7, 8 +

Experience our farm looking through the lens of sustainability. Explore the interconnections between our environment, our economy and our community.
Also Includes: Wagon ride, and animal feeding. Add on a pick your own experience for a small extra charge.

Enhance your tour with a visit to our Giving Garden-
Make your plant unit into a hands on service learning experience with a visit to our Giving Garden- for grade 1’s plus
June to Early October- Cultivate and/or harvest produce from our Giving Garden to gift to those in need of fresh vegetables – individuals, food banks, community kitchens……
