    Thanksgiving celebrates a season of plenty as the summer harvest ends and the fall harvest peaks.  It’s a time when locally grown fruits and vegetables are abundant. Our Thanksgiving Share box is an opportunity to extend these seasonal offerings. Take some pressure off your planning.  We've carefully curated a variety of fruits and vegetables to help make your Thanksgiving dinner a feast of flavours. Fresh turkeys are available by special order. (We have a limited supply, please order early)

A cross between a turnip and a cabbage, this vegetable has a beautifully butter and savory taste when roasted. They are high in vitamin C, a good source of potassium and high in fiber.

    Sweet with a tang. Honeycrisp are currently one of the most popular apples grown in Ontario. They are crunchy with a watermelon like texture and juicy as anything. Highly recommended for eating fresh, not so much for cooking.

Our farm box is filled with the same selection of fruits and veggies found in the current week’s CSA share box, some of which are exclusive to our shares.     Do you like acorn squash? If so you'll love this delicata squash. It's a sweeter version and more versatile in cooking. Delicious baked, roasted or grilled. Have some fun and cut it into rings, bake in oven on a lightly oiled cookie sheet 350 degrees for half an hour. Eat skin and all.

We’ve curated a selection of our fruits and veggies that will make your Christmas dinner scrumptious and still give you some left for the winter.
