A premium apple developed in British Columbia. These apples are crisp and juicy with a sweet, honeyed flavour. If baking with them use less sugar than is required by what the recipe calls for. They’re also naturally low in acid which means they’re slow to brown after being cut open. Ambrosia apples don’t have a thick, waxy skin which makes them easy to bite into- no peeling required. The skin of an apple actually contains a good amount of nutrients making for a healthy snack. Ambrosia apples keep very well in the refrigerator, don't worry about buying in bulk
